MDE Tracking Number

Maryland Department of the Environment requires a tracking number for a lead certificate and registration of your pre-1978 rental property. You can contact them directly at 410-537-4199 for free or we can get this tracking number for you for only $10.

Provide the following information and we will email you your tracking number after we receive the information from MDE.

* Property information should match the rental property's tax record information.

The tracking number is provided Monday - Friday. It typically takes up to 24 - 48 hours to receive the tracking number.

After you receive your tracking number you will be able to login to MDE’s online system and pay the $30 registration fee.
